It can be tough to know what the best approach to security is, especially when it comes to protecting your physical assets. While data protection is the hot topic today, it doesn't make much sense to protect your network and leave your data centers vulnerable. Also, there are many correlations between data and physical asset protection.

Forbes magazine recently spoke to David Ulevitch, the CEO of OpenDNS, who recommended people use two-factor authentication to protect data stored on their cell phones and computers.

At Digitus, we offer two-factor and three factor authentication on our biometric security devices, to ensure that only authorized individuals gain access to an area. We can also require two people to authenticate, sometimes referred to as “dual custody”, in order to gain access.

This security approach is a great way to protect both sensitive data and the data centers it's stored on.
